Xenon lamps do not use in fog lights: constantly changing the configuration of the discharge violates the strictly calculated geometry of the light beam, and the headlight does not perform its direct function. For fog lights it is better to use only LED bulbs.

Honda Ridgeline Generations

Honda Ridgeline 14 Generation (2021)

The Honda Ridgeline is a five-seat midsize pickup, sharing several design strategies with the Honda Pilot SUV. It is equipped with a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine that works with a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions are available.

Honda Ridgeline 13 Generation (2020)

2020 updates include the Honda Sensing suite of active safety features now included as standard equipment. Honda Sensing includes collision avoidance braking, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Other changes include a luggage compartment door with remote locking and wide-opening rear doors.

Honda Ridgeline 12 Generation (2019)

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline doesn’t follow the typical midsize pickup truck formula, but it succeeds thanks to its compelling blend of comfort, versatility, features, and value. The only thing holding it back is a lousy touchscreen system.

Honda Ridgeline 11 Generation (2018)

Among the 2018 updates, the Ridgeline undergoes only minor changes, including a reduction in available interior trim levels from 12 to nine.

Honda Ridgeline 10 Generation (2017)

After a two-year hiatus, the Honda Ridgeline returns for the 2017 model year. Sharing several design strategies with the Honda Pilot SUV, the Ridgeline has the traditional pickup truck look and offers many of the same exclusive minivan/ SUV/pickup features contained in the previous model.

Honda Ridgeline 9 Generation (2014)

The Ridgeline is built on Honda’s minivan/ SUV platform – essentially a beefed-up Odyssey with standard all-wheel drive and a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The company announced that 2014 was the last model year for the Ridgeline as we know it, and the truck took a brief hiatus in 2015 and returned as a completely redesigned 2017 model.

Honda Ridgeline 8 Generation (2013)

The rearview camera is the new standard for 2013. The Sport model adds some features to the RT, including 18-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels and a black grille with black honeycomb trim. The headlight and taillight housings are also black, and a fog light kit is included.

Honda Ridgeline 7 Generation (2012)

Honda’s pickup truck receives some mileage improvements and a new Sport model for 2012, and all models feature a new grille design, aerodynamic improvements, and reduced engine friction, all of which contribute to improving the truck’s overall fuel efficiency by 1 mpg on the highway. Everything else on the Ridgeline stays the same as on the 2011 models.

Honda Ridgeline 6 Generation (2011)

There are no significant changes for the 2011 model year. Apart from external aesthetics, there are some style and design issues with the Ridgeline: the traditional bed cover or crossover toolbox mounted on the bed doesn’t fit, the choice of tonnes covers is limited, and visibility is difficult from some corners. While the composite upholstery retains a fresh look and is wide enough to hold 4-by-8 construction materials, there are no bunk slots or vertical dividers for load control.

Honda Ridgeline 5 Generation (2010)

After last year’s styling update, Honda is making only minor changes to the 2010 Ridgeline pickup. Three new body colors are available: Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Polished Metal Metallic. The main advantages of the 5-foot cargo platform, of course, are the lockable trunk (8.5 cubic feet of capacity), four cargo space headlights, and a double-action tailgate that opens up and down to support long objects or from the trunk.

Honda Ridgeline 4 Generation (2009)

Honda says there are 50 significant changes or new features in the 2009 model year. This is the first update to the Ridgeline since its introduction in the 2006 model year, but the changes do not represent a major design change. The front and rear bodywork received a cosmetic overhaul in the form of a redesigned bumper and a different grille. The interior got a new look for the dashboard, improved switch controls, new cloth seat materials, and a new steering wheel design.

Honda Ridgeline 3 Generation (2008)

The one-piece design gives the Ridgeline a respectable 8.2 inches of ground clearance, but the cab floor is low enough for easy entry and exit. Lower levels of interior trim come with cloth upholstery; the RTL is finished in leather. The RT and RTX driver’s seat is manual, but it includes a cushion height adjustment. The RTS and RTL do the same with power. This is an important adjustment because it allows drivers of different sizes to optimize their viewpoint.

Honda Ridgeline 2 Generation (2007)

In 2007, Honda introduces the RTX trim level. The three original trim levels are also available: RT, RTS, and RTL. The RTL now comes with a standard moon roof and can be equipped with a navigation system. Standard features on the new Ridgeline RTX include a trailer hitch, gray alloy wheels, a unique honeycomb-mesh grille, body-colored door handles, and a standard towing package that includes a trailer hitch and wiring harness.

Honda Ridgeline 1 Generation (2006)

The Ridgeline is designed for medium-duty off-road use, it can climb a 28-degree hill or, when properly equipped, tow a 5,000-pound trailer. Three interior trim levels are available: RT, RTS, and RTL, the latter of which can be equipped with a sunroof and navigation system.
